Two outcomes, both stated plainly:
- You don't get off the waitlist: the deposit is refunded immediately, in full. "If you don't get off the waitlist, we refund it immediately, in full."
- You do get off the waitlist: it counts toward your first month, so it's never money spent on top of what you'd owe anyway.
Billing itself doesn't start at signup either — "only after you're off the waitlist and you've confirmed your goal with us," and the product checks in with you before that first month is charged.
How this compares to a trial, in practice
A typical free trial gives you a few days or a feature-limited version, then auto-bills a card you may have forgotten you entered.
